Pitch Circle Diameter or PCD

A Mk1 Golf fitment is 4 x 100mm as standard, but can be altered by using adaptors
The first bit of the PCD indicates how many holes there are, the second is the measurement between two or the four holes on a radius i.e. 100mm
This is measured as a diameter like the green circle in the drawing  below:
