Offset or ET
So the picture below shows how to measure the ET of a wheel if it not stamped on it.
It is important to get the correct ET else it can cause issue with fouling on the suspension or the bodywork but this can be altered by using Spacers or Adaptors

The ET of the wheel is the distance from the Rim Width centre line to the mounting surface of the hub.
This can either be a Positive or a Negative number.
You can change the ET of any wheel by using Spacers or Adaptors.
