Mk1 on top gear.......

Anyone else notice the Mk1 in the pile of old cavaliers that the top gear stunt man reversed an allegro into???????

I did and felt sad  :cry: saw a mk3 a mk2 and a mk2 polo too…I always feel a bit gutted when i see cars that could be used for spares getting crushed or smashed up for stupid things like a reverse speed jump..  :dontknow:

i know matey cant like all the people all of the time. He just brags about driving like a nob on public roads… where other people have to drive etc, its not smart, nor is he. Lanky nobber

Yes it was the top of the range Vanden Plas as well.

I must admit even as a kid I thought that grill just looked plane daft.

i saw the golf aswell hopefully it was a write off on the basis that it was scrap anyway.

Also, Jeremy's Fiat Coupe.. bolting those spikes THROUGH the spokes, and was surprised when the wheel sheared off.. idiot.

May's siren was the best ever.

You lot must have mk1 radars, i recorded it and had to watch it 3 times to spot it after reading this thread

Yeah it was at the bottom of the pile, and I think out of the the allegro's range!

That was quality when that wheel came off the fiat coupe, the alloy just snapped at the end of the spokes!

the scary thing is, on the coupe forum, someone has reported their wheel snapping when just driving down the road… and this was on 2 of the 4 wheels, the third snapped 3 of the 4 spokes 8O 8O 8O 8O
