Rear seats should be in on Tuesday, along with the parcel shelf.
I need to remember to take the advisory decals for inside the driver's door shut as well.

Had to grind all the letters and 2mm off the front calipers to accomodate wheels without having the unbalanced look.
I'll need to paint the calipers as well.
No silly colours, don't worry!!

They have a BH of 10mm. A German term that defies the amount of gap from mounting face to spoke face. With a 5mm spacer on the front, it makes them BH 15mm.
As for the ET…unknown really. I guessed at 8 for the rear and 12 for the front. I knew when I bought them but have pretty much forgotten. It didn't matter, as they were going to fit!!! At any cost.

Managed to get rear carpet , rear seats, drivers seat and parcel shelf in today.
The passenger seat is going back to the trimmers as I swear that the tartan is slightly off line at the top. I'm being fussy, but will only get annoyed with myself in a year or so, if I don't sort it now.
Then I fitted the wiper motor and wiper arm.
I bet the guy fitting the motors in the factory had the worst job going!!
Finally managed to get the lower tailgate stripe on as well. But, I will remove it tomorrow and put another one on, as I have put it about 4mm too high. I only noticed it when looking through the photos on my PC. It really wasn't apparent in the flesh.
I also realised that the parcel shelf I have had saved in the spare room for 4 years, needs the Black metal part (nearest the tailgate) re-painting.

Some of the photos will be a bit better now as I use a 5 megapixel rather than 3.2.

as long as the tread pattern is under the wheel arch its legal..

I will still be fitting the rear arches remember. So the tyre tread will be under.

A couple more of yesterday's photos that I'll drop in as well.
Remember that the tailgate stripe is being moved lower down.
(I'm too particular, I make life really hard for myself at times!)
