MK1 G60 PROJECT ***coming back out to play**

havent had much time for updates

as ive spent a lot of time trying to get it finished…

heres a few update pics with what ive done…

numberplates now attached with heavy duty velcro (the pack says the velcro will hold 15kg  8O  )

oil cooler,intercooler and rad all fitted in place also font bumper,lower splitter and crystals fitted

wasnt too kean on the crystals so i replaced them with smoked crosshairs then fitted the grill

all intercooler hoses and waterpipes attached also induction kit fitted,it has oil and water in it and has no leaks and runs sweet





a couple more bits to do and then should be in for a mot next week

No problem fella - looking well sweet now - if it wasnt absolutely slinging it down with rain I would be outside looking for that elusive part

edition 38 should be its first show if everything goes to plan…

cheerz malc, hopefully should stop raining anyday now

car went in for a MOT today and failed on… no fog light and wheel bearings…

which is better than i thought  

it runs perfectly and goes like stink, im still getting use to the supercharger blanking kit noise as it sounds crazy  8O

retest on tuesday!! then will be getting a new dash fitted and finishing a couple of small bits off

not sure about a feature, i want it 100% perfect before a feature…

the mk1 is now fully road legal

it went through the MOT today…

although i wont get chance to drive it for a while as its back in the paint shop for some finishing bits,then off for a dash conversion and then in for a custom exhaust…

should be finished in around 3 weeks…roll on

good work mate hasn't taken you long at all and it looks stunning

so how much can your mate do me an interia for?

 stunning detail looks absolutely spot on, the only thing i would do different is leave the mk1 dash in it :wink:  is that a 1H or PG engine? whatever one it is i bet it absolutely rips, please post a pic of the whole car soon, those arches and rims are pure vw porn

its a pg engine and yes she flys …

ive updated the seats so i thought i would continue the theme with the dash..i want a mk1 with a newer feel to driving it..

dropped it off with jay renshaw last weekend as hes the master of dash conversions,hes a top bloke and his work is top notch!!

the dash will be fully functional as its was in the mk4 polo

heres a pic after only 2 days of it with him..
