Original Hot hatch???

If you go by product launches, the Golf GTi was launched at the September 1975 Frankfurt IAA, the R5 Gordini was not launched until 1976. So the GTi was still the FIRST!

The "prototype" Sport Golf project was initially thought up in 1973 and is regocnised as the first of many hot hatches.. hes talking rubbish
