i've now owned the car 7 weeks, and it has been in the garage getting it's new engine for the last 6 weeks.

I feel a bit sad looking at what it was, and what ive done to it in less than a year, see what you think before will be the top picture, then after will be bottom.





I suppose its only the rear so you cant see what ive done up front but it doesnt look as good anymore, changed it to single lamps, no red grille, smoked indicators, looks rough  ops:

well thought i might as well show mine too

currently has a tuned re1900 (1.9) engine pushing out 150bhp..

in the middle of replacing with a fully rebuilt (by me :wink: )2L 16v conversion on K Star management - with a few subtle mods im after 180bhp!  8)

Here's one of my car at "All types" last year. I parked up next to this tatty looking swallow tail (which had obviously been codged together in someone's garage) and I got cornered by this golf anorac….You can see me just behind him…He is peering jealously into my car and I am just behind him planning my escape!…..And yes I forgot the sun block!  8O

Some mint Golfs peeps! My pic was taken last year, the GTi trim will be replaced with original Golf C stuff this year when it gets new panels fitted…but GTi trim's easier to find to replace missing bits. I'm keeping the alloys though! P.S -Typical female parking!
