I have a black golf. Don't know whether I will put the rear stripe on it once I've finished the work. I wasn't as fortunate as you the bodywork requires quite a bit of work :cry:

The black is the nicest colour in them 8)
but very hard to keep :cry:
where as the white always looks good
and from what i have heard is very rare
as no one liked the white, so not alot were sold

i could be wrong

Beautiful car though. Golf GTIs have always managed to pull 'white' off well. Even the new mk5 looks good in white. It's sudden death for most cars.

The interior looks absolutely beautiful mate, the rear seats look like they haven't even been sat on. A credit to you and the previous owners. (I say this as i jet wash me boot liner as it was stored for years with stuff in it that has left it's mark…..) Now if only i could get the bloody sunroof to stop leaking…..
