How old were you when your Golf was new?

My soft top is exactly a month older than me, and the hard top just over 2 years older 8O

All my previous cars have been younger, and since i havent had the mk1's that long i still find it feels really strange to be driving something thats older than me!  :dontknow:

 i popped out in `76  8O

So was 8 when it was new… its been a long long wait..

I was born in '81 and my cab is an '88….making me 7!

My boyfriend's Mk2 was registered on 4/11/91 - 10 years to the day after he was born

I thought I was one of the oldest on here… but I was only 14 in 1984. That should shake up the demographics a bit though! Nice one Debs!

My mk1 is 4 years older than me, it was born in 75, and I was born in 79.

Hubby's 10 years older than me :mrgreen: and he loves the golf as much as I do.   He was won over when I came on the scene and introduced him to my blue golfy. 8)  

He's just bought an engine and gearbox and bits to get back on the road and then we'll be driving one each!!

My first GTI was built in 1981 when I was 10 but my current cabby was built in 1991 when I was 20 .

I was 2 when mine was built.

My 1982 Golf Gti was born five years before me, so I'm afraid you are the equal youngest kelly!  Unless you want to compare months of registration?  :wink:
