It is waiting for a tiny more stonechip and it will get more paint tonight…It is coming along well. It should be in the air shortly so the unerneath can get done too. The front panel is having a couple of the spoiler mounting holes welded and redrilled as they have become slightly oval over the years. even the lip on the bulk head by the vin number has had a little bit of tweaking too…nothing like attention to detail..

lookin awesome, i think i reccognise that colour, i had my old beetle the same shade i think, is it a BMW M3 colour?

Im not sure it looks a bit like that but to be honest its a mixture of blues to act as a base coat before the helios blue goes on..

Going to look stunning when finished mate, can't wait to see it!

Well the interior is now HELIOS BLUE  

The outside is being fettled a little, mainly the wings. I have been told it will be complete on Monday next week to start rebuilding.. :shock:

She's going to be mint

Ok well its looking like it will be Helios Blue all over this weekend and the final car will be ready for collection on a week Saturday…..nail biting has now begun

Even I'm getting excited now, bet you can't wait!!

Its like christmas…lol I have always wanted a genuine Helios Blue one in tip top condition so its amazing how its coming on.. I have to wait till mid April for the seats to be done but it should be mot'd by then and on the road by May..
