Reached this in my golf

Steering wheel shouldn't be shaking 8O , sounds like a wheel weight. Driven a couple of GTI's at 100mph (on private roads of course) and smooth as you like.

My driver doesn't seem to want to go over a hundred, like hitting a brick wall once 99mph creeps up!  
Guess it's because I don't have injection!

Ride is perfectly smooth too, moreso than my friend's brand new clio!

I once had my golf doing a displayed 115mph down a hill on the A1(privateroad)9 but never repeated it although in all honesty havn't given the car any stick since I've fitted my carb. Can cruise up to 90mph on my private stretch of road comfortably though!
