What Cars have you had ?How Many?

pugzadams said

I must be winning with 42!

You have done well for a wee laddie, god forbid when you get to 40 like me.

My wife is also like me with cars so she has had 18 since I met her 13 years ago and that is her calmed down as her last 3 have been company cars which she gets for 2 years each.

So we are in the 40's as well  :D

Good for the change but bad on the depreciation  :(

Might start a thread - How much have you lost in depreciation in …. years ?

Cheers chris

I have spent a total of 25k on cars. I got back 14k on the sale of them meaning I have lost 11k. This does not include servicing, spare parts, insurance changes and of course road tax! oh s**t

Since I passed my driving test only 8 years ago we have owned

Ford Ka luxury
Merc A140 Avantgarde
VW Polo mk3 (should never have gotten rid of this but the wife said we needed a bigger car)
Honda Civic sport
Seat Ibiza TDI sport (130bhp, I loved the engine but the car as a whole felt really cheap)
Renault Megane Dynamique (worst car on the planet) only had it 5 month and hated it
Astra 1.9td van
VW Golf Mk1 Cabriolet (this we still own)
VW Golf mk4 TDI (this is our daily driver)

I think the two cars we own now are our best cars to date, just wish the MK4 had the engine of the old Seat as it was sh*t off a shovel that thing was
