yes,this are water jets.about saving another mk1 i`m thinking about starting new project under subject "Golf GTI `76" but i think i must take small breake and take deep breath of air and money before starting it.this car on photo took 2 years of work so…….i need little fun-means drivingmarsredgti said

I think these were standard on GLS models. My old 5-door had these headlight washers. On your Gti/Series 2's you'll see a spare bracket on the inner wing next to your washer bottle. This is to take the double sized bottle I think when you have these jets fitted.
Mine never worked right though!!

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday

i`m starting new project-this will GTI `76-`78 version but i`m planning this project to take maybe 5 years so….long way infront of me
but you know-i feel little jobless now after finishing GX and my hands need work with another project-i`m probably infected by vw virus :roll:
