Beds, Herts and Bucks

-South Mimms Services, Junction of A1 and M25.

Its obscenely easy to get to from all directions, they don't mind us being there and they're spanking modern services with plenty of seating etc.

At the moment a few of us (normally around 10) meet up there every second Sunday of the month. (www.Londub.com)

Might as well combine meets? or at least come along for this one and if it doesn't suite then fair enough.  Normally a caddie, a few mk1s, mk2s, jettas etc come along.

2pm, 13th of feb. Its always the 2nd sunday of each month, in corner of main services car park near exit. The 2 hour max thing doesnt matter, we've asked them and they're fine with us being there.

If nothing else gets organised then come along, more the merrier and always good to meet new peeps

I'm staying in Guildford the night before (Live In Potters Bar) and will be convoying up with a few folks round the M25 for 2pm.

Mouse (Rowan) from CGTI has a White Mk1 Series 2 GTI in Potters Bar as well, i'll give him a shout and see if hes put it back together in time to come along.

Just wondering when the next meet in the Bucks/Beds/Herts region might be?  Am afraid that I won't be able to bring my Golf  :cry:  as it has been off the road for a while now.  Just about to restore it.  Would be good to pick some brains and talk about Mk1s though.

Hiya, London boy`s I will try and get a few of my mates from Marlow along to the next meet 2nd week in march im guessing ??? we have 2 mk 1 campaigns,2 g40 (200bhp`s) 1 rally , 1 mk 2 G60, 2 1.8t mk2`s oh and some vr6 mk2`s + a slow gti coco channel . it could take some organising but will give it a go !!!!  I will look out for update info cheers

South Mimms meet is on, as always, second Sunday of month, 2pm. In this case, will be Sunday 13th March. Job Done.

Interestingly another group of VW enthusiasts have (without knowing) set up an Air-cooled meet for South mimms on same day, but at 11am.  I may go along a few hrs early to have a gander.
 

I'll wack up a dedicated post closer to time, but nothing will change, details as above.
