Good it's back on the road, strange it's also got the wipers from a left hand drive car as well as later doors and big bumpers…

One step at a time you have no idea the time and effort that I have put into getting to this stage criticism should not be a point you make towards where I am at truth be known I have probably forgotten more in the last hour than you have learned in your life you had a good go at me a while back I am not a vindictive person but there are those who know and those who think they know

Steady on there, I'm not criticising you or your car I'm just pointing out the facts and wondering why it's got the wipers on the other side as I'm interested.

Big bumpers were a common upgrade and later doors are a better design as the side mirrors are further forward and windows less noisy at motorway speeds.

Thank you your criticism probably is unfair in my view feel to free cast your opinion maybe you could enlighten me on other aspects of abf in a mk2 without isv or ecu control would be interested in your view

It's been quite a few years for me, but I think all the early mk2's  had european spec wipers

I like them with big bumpers, and had them on my 85 type 19 when I was a yoof, would have had the doors too if I could have found them

I remember my mum had a '86 Mk 2 - that had the wipers on the 'wrong' side as well. My mate's 88 model had them the right way round.

Yeah early cars have lefty wipers. 

This car should have the quarter light doors and small bumpers.

But it is what it is makes me happy using it rather than car sharing with missus maybe some time will find the parts to put it back but plenty to do with it at the moment mate
