We've had this discussion before about wanting to go fast in MK1.

You can spend a fortune upgrading a MK1 to 200+hp or leave the MK1 as nature intended and just buy a Audi TT or a Mini Cooper S  to go fast for peanuts

Of course there's always going to be many camps, some who say less than 200bhp in a light shell is enough whilst others build 1200bhp 4wd ones.

My last one ended up at 265bhp and was good.

I have other fast cars but it's also good to surprise people when they expect the 40 year old car will be slow.

The real thing that will make my mind up is how much I've spent to get it to the point before I need an engine.

As everyone can see the shells a state, dippings not cheap, then you've to see how bad it is when you get it back.

I'm already in for two front wings, front panel, bonnet, both floor sections, the box section parts that go on the floor, possible boot, door door panels and  that's what I can see so far.

An option 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cant be beat down…as they owe me loads even without tyres.

Have another set of ronal turbos ..need stripping..but can do you mates rates.

Well today was a road trip day down to envirostrip 👌🏻

Envirostrip have said the shell will be ready for collection on the 13th and I'll put some photos up of it going through the process when I get them.

My centre caps have turned up for my bent banded wheels too 😪
