Mk1 Caddy renovation

So all painted now and waiting for my mate to deliver the Porsche 24V engine and ordering bits for rebuilding!

In the meantime, i’ve brought my one owner 54k Cherry red mk1 Caddy in for a respray as paint had faded and rust was beginning to show through on the bed. All original panels from new this one and will continue to be my little daily for now. Only a week or so to go and this will be like new!

The finish on this caddy is outstanding. Hef is such a perfectionist.

Having seen both these pickups up close the paint finish on them is excellent. And what a lovely original example the red one is. Looking forward to more updates

Mines sat under its cover waiting for the summer to arrive. I had lots of plans for it this winter, none of which I've got round to doing. I however manage to find an original engine and gearbox for it which I've started cleanup and want to fit ready for the summer. Updates will be on Instagram and on my thread on here once I get a chance to put them on
