Breaking For Spares no longer

You’ll no doubt need some welding and paint under the hood.
Where the cover trims go.
Usual suspects there is There’s a little tab that the screws go into.
If the little plate is off the trims won’t sit right as there’s nothing to screw into.



Once welding and paint is done bring her to Chortles Top Shop for a new lid.
I reckon she’ll come good mate.

Cabriolet bigger bumper hangers are different to small bumpers fitted to tin tops etc.

You might need to fabricate some or possibly import some from Germany before you throw away the old ones.

I wire brushed my bumper beam and painted it with rust busters epoxy mastic.

i have just removed that piece of scrap
from a bumper cover to replace it with
a pair of miint reinforcers  for front and
rear rear skin needs a small amount of
tlc front needs plastic welding  to a few
places but will all come good
