One tune every day thread two...2018

Well flick my tets, what a week.
Bored - she's out in the British Virgin Islands racing a 43ft boat with an all girl crew.
So with her away the plan was to decorate the house and spend this weekend drunk.
That was the plan.
Had to call in sick Monday as I'd no sleep Sunday, put t down to breathing in paint fumes (despite all the crazy things I've voluntarily inhaled I'm really susceptible to solvents).
Headed in Tuesday only to be sent home and told not to return.
Anyway, long story short - sinus infection, suspected bronchitis. I've lost 10lbs and had to cancel everything.  Never been so ill in my life!
I'm venturing out this afternoon but not for long as I can't hear anything and I suddenly get sapped if energy.

thought was pretty simple..what ever music plays first in your car be it cd, tape mp3. what is everyone listening to. doesn't even have to be your golf…what ever you  listening to at the moment.

ha Tbigjohn, nobody listens to northern soul anyone 😉. I had about 3000 tracks  of northern soul when Napster was about…best part about it was song length even if didn't like it was only gonna be 2 mins till next song.
But at least you music choice is constant.  

I love a good song, be it 50,60 70s but wife says I'm stuck in 80/90s like my cars.

So as I work from home mostly in the quiet due to conference calls I will add the first song I hear each day whether it is sung by the family or on a phone, sonos etc.

Lol, try that comment up on the Fylde peninsular, I'm knackered now and walk with a stick but if I desired I could be out nearly every night at a Northern gig. We move on, but I find a good blast of Northern or Ska gets my garage Mojo going and then I follow with St Germain (Ludovic Navarre) or similiar or Jazz/Funk/Soul/Rockabilly/Boogie Woogie, but no Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, unless with the Faces, or Pink bleedin' Floyd!

Just been in my daily (Skoda Karoq) and my wife put on the radio Smooth FM, which is what I imagine the music played in the lift at the Dignitas clinic is like. Some woman was warbling like a mortally wounded spaniel, so I changed to Absolute C Rock and got this:

This song ALWAYS reminds me of driving my mars red x reg golf about 20 years ago. I always picture myself pulling out of the junction at the top of Chepstow onto the main road heading to Bulwark. No songs remind me of my current or other MK1s just this car and this song.
