Good luck chap, looks like you have the weather for it today

We did indeed  

Despite the concrete conveyor wagon refusing to come and so I had to try and get a pump with about 2hrs notice (which I managed!) it all went reasonably well.

Well it's done anyway and that's the main thing.







It's flat and it's reasonably level so all that's left is all the rest.

Talking of rest, I need one

When do the blocks arrive and do you have wood    

well done Ian , great work and a fine size garage for your wagens . Will they have a new home for Xmas or have you a deadline date -ish?

I'm now trying to find a blockie to put up the walls for me as I have never laid a block in my life and I've got have columns and joints in the wall so I'll get a pro.

Yup I've got wood, well some. But it's not been used in ages so it's a bit green and manky.

I'd love to get it done by xmas but I'm flat out with work for the next couple of months so I think that'd be pushing it. Depends on how fast I can find a blockie I suppose.

At least there's no holes for the dog to fall in and all the mud I've been tracking in the house for the last few months is now gone, that was the main thing

So then, after 4 months of nowt, the stars have finally aligned and the wondrous blockie has been found!

Mini telehandler ordered, 1400 blocks ordered (for a start) and sand and cement ordered.





Whoop, whoop got to play for a bit anyway.





And then the wall began today!



Bottom corner



Along the boundary



And the top end where the roller door will be going.

Up date later in the week hopefully!

Was wondering when you were going to start again. Now the fun begins Jealous of your plant equipment. Everything was a 30 metre hike for me moving materials in a wheel a barrow Keep the updates coming, will go up quick now 

Would have been the same hike for me mate.

Hence the telehandler

and block work mostly done.



Just the timber structure at the back, the doors, windows and roofs to be done now.

Plus the timber for the roof beams and boards are here too!



My strucutal chippie guy will be round later in the week to check my work and hopefully give me the thumbs up.

The it's in with noggins and stuff and start with the roof beams hopefully
