Rocker cover gasket?

when tightening the nuts you cant really go wrong, the rocker cover will bottom out either on the cork stud shoulders or the metal washers in the rubber gasket. so you thread them on by hand till they stop then nip up with a little ratchet, job jobbed.

VAG torque spec is 10 Nm if you dont have in/lb markings on your torque wrench though you'll need a little one to get accurate results as the larger ones dont tend to work so well at low figures.  

VW specify sealant D 454 300 A2 on the corners of the bearing caps, but you can use your preferred assembly sealant
