bit of aldrite to bond the broken bit back on, maybe a jubilee clamp nipped up round the outside of it to hold in place

Annoyingly I don't have the missing part…. I only brought the car 6 weeks ago and didn't come across this untill I tried to fill the tank up 😤

I suspect now's the time that a 3D printer would come in handy. Since some of these bits are now unobtainable.

I never understand the Accountants need to cost reduce every part especially in Critical areas of the engine and fuel system

Plastic Water flanges an t-stat covers also spell disaster for engines as well as fuel parts that can cause fires.  My 2 pence, as I have had it with plastic parts on engines.

I don't know if removing it and making a Mold then casting it in rosin would work to repair it.
