Reporting live from the AGM 2015.

Morning all,

Well you can see from the title of this post and it's a simple request to you guys and girls lucky enough to attend.

I unfortunately like many hundreds if not thousands can't make it to this years AGM.
I my case I've come out of Hospital for the weekend and go back on Monday (call it for good behavior).  

We all know what a fantastic weekend it's going to be once again this year.
So for those like myself unable to join you, all I ask is that you take a few seconds out to send in your live updates to this post!

I think it's fair to say that with the modern smartphone it takes very little time to send a text update or a picture or two.
I know would make such a difference us more unfortunate members that for whatever reason can't be there with you this year!

Remember we are not just a UK based Club but a Worldwide one, so please let us all share with you this AGM and make it the best ever!

First thing I did when I got home yesterday. 
The wife said, where are you going? 
I said where do you think? 
To check the car for damage of course!

Anyone out there? 

Knock once for yes and twice for no!    

You all can't all be tanked already! 

They could be, unless they are all huddled up in the new state of the art hospitality centre that we have hired this year - cunningly disguised as a two berth Caravan!

Could be all the sun has gone to their heads, it was pretty hot there today, I'll try and get some pics for you tomorrow if nobody posts up!

Hi Richard do let us know if they made it out of the Hospitality tent in one piece or if not, do get us some pictures of the carnage left behind!     

Mike, I'll report back this evening when I get home, unless anyone with this new fangled mobile technology gets on here before me!

A safe and trouble free journey to everyone going to Uttoxeter.

First of all sorry about lack of pics, my Camera packed up just after I got there.

A great first day, weather held fine and seemed even more than last year turned up. drive out must have had at least 120 cars, led off by Walter in his Rally Golf.

A really great run, despite the council deciding Saturday would be a really good day to Tar and Chip part of the route, and a Police Incident closing off another section of the route.  Stop over at a Marina was great choice. Unfortunately for one member not quite such a good day, he lost a wheel causing quite a bit of damage, thankfully several cars came to the rescue and he rejoined the convoy, albeit pretty battered.

These are the only pics which came out, but hopefully someone else will post some up.

Seems like it's in full swing, well apart from the poor bloke who lost a wheel!  

Definitely sounds like a big party is going to be kicking off anytime now!

Well as it looks like the majority of you are suffering this morning in one way or another (serves you right).
So I've been on my own 'Drive Out' before it gets to darn hot here.



Yeah the picture is hot with good reason to be fair!  
Found a great little restaurant with just enough space for me to park mine under some trees.
Normally I try not to park under them but it was a choice of blazing sun (28 degrees right now) or this.

I'll be moving on after a little refreshment!
 
Guess a lot of you of right now fumbling for a range of hangover cures, so good luck.        

Has it rained this afternoon at the AGM?

No perfect weather, nearly three hours of judging without any sun cream I know look like a human version of Golfcabrios car - White body and a red head!
