For the love of cars...

Just watched the programme on 'catch up'.
I think it was a great PR for the breed - you have to remember that the programme isn't targeting the thousand or so 'dyed in the wool' enthusiasts, but the millions of ordinary viewers.
A real surprise at the end of the auction, and a genuinely moving moment when the car is presented back to Walt. Bravo!

Watched the programme and enjoyed it… Despite a lot of talking by 'the other 'arf'!!

Loved the twist at the end.

First time I've ever watched the show but I must admit I loved it!
Always good to watch anything to do with the golf imo!

Watched it with Mrs Early, her ears pricked up when someone mentioned nice ones are over £10,000 or whatever the figure was.

As its broadcast on a mainstream terrestrial channel it has to be entertaining for the entire population not just petrolheads that frequent car related websites. Think they got it about right on this one. The Rover SD1 was a bit dire

Car SOS on a more specialist satellite channel doesn't have the excuse that it needs to get away from the car restoration side of things though

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

Great presenters in the programme. Lets hope they make another series. Loved the Aston episode. Very tastefully done  :)

Really enjoyed this one.. watched with extra interest as I had the pleasure of providing a lot of the parts for it - Spoken with Ant a few times, what a bloody nice bloke!

From a purely selfish point of view would of liked to see more work being done on the car - but as a mainstream TV programme it works well - and my wife enjoys it too!
