Time to think about 2015 AG

Glad that was a nice clear cut victory even if it was decided on Penalties! 

 Such a shame that the Club has had to change the dates for our AGM as the
third weekend in July was established on the show calendar for most of the
membership.
It would be a great pity if our Club moved from Uttoxeter as the venue takes
a lot of beating! Yes, there have been problems but the advantages far
outweigh the minor setbacks at our past meetings held at the racecourse.
I can't think of another show ground that would cater for all our needs
(north of Birmingham!), it will need very careful consideration by the
committee before any decision to move from Uttoxeter is made.
            Can I take it then that next year's AGM
            is to be held on 31st July to 2nd August
            as I will have to change my hotel booking?

Hi Keith

A final decision hasn't been made yet, we're still looking in to this and all of our options. Sadly though, the usual date and Uttoxeter combination can't happen next year, that's out of our hands and the racecourse's too.

However, despite the above (close) vote, we may be dictated by the availability of committee members as to which of the two dates we go for. At the end of the day we need to be there to run it!

Hold fire and we should confirm in the coming days, not weeks.

Sorry for the late vote peeps, first time I've looked at this thread. I'd have to go for the later date as I'm provisionally booked up to go on holiday for the earlier dates.

Dear MK1 Fans!

You'll be pleased to know that we have now finalised the booking for AGM 2015!

We will be at Uttoxeter Racecourse again as per the previous few years and the AGM will take place on the weekend of Friday 10th July - Sunday 12th July.

You will probably notice that the date is earlier than our usual weekend. Due to circumstance out of ours and the Racecourse's control, our usual weekend is not available.

However, this wont detract from the fact that AGM 2015 will be fantastic fun, with all the usual shenanigans going on!

Hopefully we'll see you all there and you can all book your summer holidays around these dates.

The AGM mini web site will go live shortly, allowing you to purchase your tickets - and don't forget, membership of the club will give you preferential rates
