I run a bolt on K&N. I just bent the bulk head back slightly and no clearance issues.

Thats good to know jayc, did you not have any issues with the bonnet just been on vw heritage and it says it wont fit as it will foul the bonnet.

It's not anywhere near the bonnet. The filter is 75mm or so tall so about the same a regular airbox. I'll take a pic for you.

Car taxed today taking it for a run out

Car ran really well today, brakes all felt good , handbrake could be better so ill have to look into that, had some nice comments whilst stuck at the lights which is always good.

Minor detail with the handbrake, unless your drive is on a slope!! All else good news then

Have been busy cleaning the engine bay the last couple of weeks trying to get as much gunk and oil off it as humanly possible, without taking the engine out and stripping it all down its almost impossible to get everywere clean.
This is how it was before havent really got a lot of pics of the bay
and a couple of how it is now, its an improvement but not really as clean as i wanted it to be.
