Hi from Las Vegas NV

My Rabbit is a 1976, and my plans are to slowly restore it in a general stock way.  She is my daily driver, but I work 3.5 miles away. While out on this photo shoot, My car started not to hold idle when stopped.  Not sure if it is a carb adjustment, lack of fuel from fuel pump, or ignition timing. If I slow down, engine dies and all the lights light up. Limped the old rabbit back to the city, and had to keep the engine revs up to maintain a running engine.  Always something new to tinker with!

Early American MK1's had Zenith 32/32 2b carbs.

That's just ridiculous. Bet you don't venutre outside much mate till the sun goes down. Having said that how cold does it get at night in June seeing as Las Vegas is in the desert?

   I do have some sad news.  I was limping my car to a mechanic to run a diagnostic on the stall when stop problem, I came to a red light…Had to stop quick, so the car stalled out. I went to start the car when all of a sudden a clunking noises started.  Sounded like a connecting rod was not connecting anymore. So I had her towed, no news yet.
