Tatton Park, Sunday 5th August - Club Display 20 cars!!

Mine have arrived - thanks Anna :-)

Just got to get my gear selection sorted now - one of the cables have snapped or slipped out of its clamp under the gear lever - hopefully I can get it sorted for Sunday…

Well, my head gasket has gone , off the Berts tomorrow, hopefully mine will be fixed by then too!

If  anyone can't make it, let me know as got 4 people in reserve.

Good news, my car is fixed, not the head gasket, just a blocked water pipe n Bert has fixed it :cheer:

Yea I'm still coming but I don't really want to leave the golf in the car park call me fussy so il prob come in the beetle or the caddy if not showing the golf as its only a day show not something I like to do but I've already had some **** open there door onto my new paintwork in a car park and it's very annoying how's yours Anna any news on the hard gasket situation ??

Hay guys,I'm thinking of taking the golf to tatton park this weekend. Is there a golf vw parking bit? I'm a bit concerned for 2 reasons 1 a buddy of mine had his mk2 stolen from there and 2 the doors don't lock haaa. Any ideas?

P.s I know the door ding feeling too (dizzy bird in a mini on her phone IN the bodyshop carpark.

I need to swap out my gearbox (again) as the replacement diesel box I fitted last week to lower the top end revs in fifth for motorway runs is crunching in second   so I will have to refit the GTI box for now!The lad I bought it off in derbyshire said it was perfect as well (I spent most of a day picking it up, I can't get a refund now as I have had it laying about for 4 years!Thats what you get for a £25 Ebay bargain !

Job for saturday morning then a good clean before the Tatton show

I know the eBay pain. I got a rear brake compensator off eBay (no comparison to a g box) and its worse than the old one and now I have no rear brakes.
