"Roses" Meet Late October ?

unfortunately i dont think i will have the golf for this as my mechanic, get ready for this has golfers elbow! bugger.

he is a vw mechanic lol.

a bump up the list is in order as its this saturday

Been out for a run on the bike today and payed the "Turnpike Inn" at Rishworth a visit.Nice spot for a meet (coffee is very good)place looks over "the dam" at the side of the M62 as you see it when travelling eastbound.
It would be a good convoy to run over "the long causeway" past the wind turbines from Burnley to Hebden Bridge, on to Mytholmroyd along the A646 then taking a right on the B6138/left on the A58 for Ripponden taking the A672 back up to the Turnpike Inn( good scenic route ) any better suggestions welcome but I feel this would be better than just razzin along the M66/M62.

 Anyhow lets have a good turn out for this so put your names up here for the meet Saturday 29th mid afternoon

I'm keeping my eye on the meet, if time permits, I might be able to swing by and join in…………..going Blackpool on Saturday in the Golf for the weekend    

No promises though……….it really depends on how long it takes the mrs to pack a bag on Saturday morning  :roll:  :roll:

It will take possibly just over an hour to travel "the scenic route" so depends on time to arrive at "the Turnpike Inn" I would suggest getting there for around 1.30 pm.Depends on where everyone wants to meet,what about "Blackburn with Darwen services "on the M65 leaving there 12.30 pm.

  Just off the M62 for anyone coming from Manchester area (which is a quick squirt along the motorway for Mancs)

Sorry guys, no can do. The car is still in blackburn. Passed the pub on the 62 twice this morning as I had to pick up some furniture from wakefield. Have fun, looks like it will be a nice day.

Still waiting for the mrs to finish packing her bag  :roll: , looking at the time your meeting think it would be nigh impossible to catch you in time………we'll be going straight to Blackpool.
