1976 Vespa Rally 200 Restoration - Complete

I bought my 1976 Vespa Rally 200 7 years ago with the intention of one day doing a resto Job, I have used it constantly for that time so now before it is rotted beyond repair I have had to take it off the Road for the resto.

here's a pic from last year

and some of this weekend being degreased and ready to be took apart for resto

I have been fortunate enough to have been stock piling part for the last few years in preperation

would be good to hear your thoughts?

Any other classic scooter owners out there?

Cheers
Tony

Hey! tony your drives just like mine "full of oil deposits".
Anyway try www.rsbikepaint.com for your paint colour match .
your Vespa is very unmolested and original looking hope you can find decals as well.

Here's my next job - 1963 Lambretta Li3. My wife got it for me for my 30th. Has been sitting in the shed for 3 years!

Like you I've been buying the odd bit here and there, so now just waiting to get myself out into the garden with my socket set and start stripping her down!

I'll keep an eye on how your getting on - hopefully you'll be an inspiration to me!

My uncle has been rebuilding and spraying scooters for near 40 years. so he will be doing most of it.  I will be just helping our where I can and sourcing parts off  the net  ebay, beedspeed, VE, sip etc
