Using your initiative, would be fitting a towbar, hitching up a decent sized trailer and getting it home securely lashed horizontally to the trailer!

we did it for a laugh as 100% of everything done on Top Gear is done.

This was never done so the tintop brigade could have there usual predictable go at floppy owners, now I own both tin, and flop still seems pathetic. I have never seen a floppy owner start and have a go at a tintop owner, must be a tintop insecurity issue perhaps :wink:

Like i said I am lucky enough to be able to own both and they are both good in there own right the tintop is faster we all know that and handles better its true but when I have both cars side by side none Mk1 owners and members of the general public always choose the floppy as the better why I don't know  :dontknow:  Answers on a post card please..

unlike the tin top you don't boil in the summer time and i guess people see this cars as fair weather motors now, so go with comfort i guess
