AGM Show *July 23rd - 25th 2010* Uttoxeter Racecourse

We're pleased to announce the dates and venue for this years AGM, which this year is to be held at Uttoxeter Racecourse, Wood Lane, Staffordshire, ST14 8BD from Friday 23rd July till Sunday 25th July.

Prices
Full weekend camping £20.00
Saturday only £7.50
Sunday £12.50
The entry prices are PER CAR

Foot traffic £4.50 per person

Really trying to get to this, this time around!!  Venue looks good!!  I missed out on last years event so like Marshy I'll book the time off  

I'll stick the silver one through an MOT, tax it and try to finish of the leaks etc by then and bring that one instead of the rusty green one.

This year promises to be the best yet the venue is fantastic with everything laid on.
The format for the weekend will be as before with a run out, road trip on the Saturday, lets see if we can beat the record set last year for the biggest Mk1 Golf traffic Jam

The business side of the Gathering takes place on the Saturday with the Club AGM, which is your turn to have your say on all aspects of the running of the club.

Sunday is the main day with the show itself with lots of categories for you to enter your beloved and possibly collect some silverware

Lets see if someone can beat the guys last year who made the fantastic effort of driving all the way from Malta, and Milan just to attend the show, so no moaning from those of you who say "its to far to travel" just because you live at either end of this the country   ..

So get them days booked off and come and join us for a fun packed weekend 8)

Might get the parents caravan…. it's got a fridge for the beer  8) !!!!  Besides the missus doesn't like wakening up knowing she hasn't got a hair dryer, straighteners… blah blah lol   …… personally I think there's nothing better than wakening up with a hangover in a tent with beer, peanuts and fluff stuck to ya face lol…. it's what camping should be about…!!!

Bring the caravan, there are electric hook up points all around so your missus will be able to use the hair straightners  :wink: , also choice of parking caravan on tarmac or the grass pitches.

The bar in our function room will be open on Saturday afternoon till late, just in case you run out of beer  :mrgreen:

I shall do my best. been there twice now for the classic bike show and it's a nice drive across!

Just got myself a new job with th AA I can guarantee (knowing my luck!) that my shift pattern will fall straight across this weekend , hope not cos I had an ace time last year even with a knackered accelerator pedal and a goosed back.  And the back road drive from yorkshire through the peak district will be a quality drive down :mrgreen:

Panic ye not they will be available soon don't worry we wont run out of space

and as for having the curry again yes and this year i will attempt to keep it on my plate and not on floor of a campervan

Oh and the guys who where in the next tent to me last year don't forget the guitar i have been adding to my song title list and they are all classics guaranteed to help Dano get some sleep
