West Mids Snowdonia Road Trip Sunday 26th April

think im only going to be taking a chilled ride out
to be honest im praying shes gonna perform well on the day lol
cant imagine much more going wrong but got a mate going over it this week to make sure its running fine and actually have a stereo for the first time in over a year ! (think i might need it with this trip)

Dont worry, it's always a relaxed drive……..with occasional jostling for positions (you need to change positions, otherwise you end up with photos of the same car in front/behind you  :wink: )  We'll have tools with us and a tow rope as per norm  :wink:

sounds gd to me im not too mechanically minded when it comes to this stuff but i dont mind getting my hands dirty when my mate comes to help me fix it lol

Gonna have a bit of a service on friday, can't wait for this guys really excited…!

Also, does anyone want to drive my golf, I wanna take my DS! haha

im gettin my gti back on wednesday, so il be givin it a full service, fitting a stereo and new speakers, and i allready have a full tank (fuel about 9 months old though), should be ok :wink:

I've seen CorkyGolf's boot, he has a handy recovery rope and a few Mechano spanners  :mrgreen:, mind you it is a cabby  :roll:  . I always have a few spanners rolling around in the boot, you never know when things will go pop!  8O

Yeah but Murphy's law says that the tool you need, will be at home in the shed. And that if you have all the tools, a part will break. So, I just carry my AA card these days. I do have a spare wheel and wheelbrace, sometimes carry a booster pack (due to historical issues…), but that's it.

Funny Really that at weston park someone needed a booster pack (Denzil) and a 10mm spanner (Dom) and you two were to the rescue

Not 100% I am coming now, been offered a trip down to Devon for a spot of surfing, may not be happening though as the wind is low. I will prob call it Saturday.

GtiMad, or anyone have any particular recommendations, so we can get a plan together .  If the weather's good, you could do the bbq with some burgers and baps on the beach…….opinions please
