Yet more inspiration to get my resto finished and out the garage (same reg and colour!).
Have you decided to stick with the twin lights or yet to make a final decision? I'm in the same dilema single or twin….

some red stripe seats came up on ebay, they looked pretty good so i bid and won them.. wooo!
when i picked them up they looked pretty good and after a damn good clean - they are!!
old one out, new one cleaned and ready..
two new front ones .
old and new rears, check the fade around the seatbelt on the bottom right of the old one!!!! can't have moved for years!!
all fitted and nice and red and not ripped to shreds!
most pleased
and………………
i've started on mini me!!
now i really have got to not spend any money on it..
just clean
and clean
and clean..
and do an oil change..
and get the bootlid spoiler removed..
and painted..
ooops..

have so far cleaned all inside the boot shut, the inside of the bootlid, the door shuts, hinge area and bottoms of the doors, so they all now look like this.
have also polished all the paintwork on the inside of the car as i don't think it had been done for years.. then i fixed the seat which didn't tilt with a new cable and started on the engine bay.
removed the screenwash bottle and thorougly cleaned it and the whole area around it:
much better.
next will be remove the rad cowling and get that powder coated black again, then in a month or so the car will be coming off the road for a few months so i can get the rest of the engine bay as clean as the above picture.
whilst doing the bay cleaning i found the outer temp sensor for the mfa shoved in the hollow area of the chassis leg (wiring through the front panel with the indicator wiring and the just shoved in the end of the chassis leg!)
my guess is it is not supposed to be here! but i couldn't find anywhere for it to go, where does it go???? anybody?
