32 34 weber split pipe?

hi everyone,  just brought a lovely 1.8 clipper, however it's running lumpy. On inspection of t has he carb this pipe has spilt in 2  could this be the cause?

Could be the reason but worth fitting some new vacuum hose if it's split.

If no better then it’s something else.
