cabriolet diabolical heating

hi guys i get warm air form the window vents and under the foot well but the dash vents just blow cold

just wandering if theres anything i can do to upgrade or enhance as its cold now and the cars always freezing and takes ages to warm up

Normal for air vents on the side of the dash with the open/close flap to blow cold, thats how VW made them.
Check the valve in the engine bay is opening completly to let the hot water into the hearter, if you get someone to move the cold/hot sliper in the car while you are under the bonnet you will see the valve (near to the brake servo) and can check it opens/closes fully there is a stop it should touch both ways, you might need to adjust the cable.
If the car is taking an age to get up to running temputure then the themostat could be stuck open, check the others water hoses get warm/hot then the bottom radiator hose gets hot after about 5 minutes of running when not moving.
Could also be the heater matrix is slightly blocked? never had a problem with mine so don't know much about them.
