The only jet wash is at the infamous 'shell garage' at Velden. That's why it became so popular. Its not actually shell anymore…

Hi mate thanks for that but as I'm heading in the other direction this morning there's supposed to be one just outside Klagenfurt en-route to the Pyramidenkogel!    

Might take the boat over to Velden later today.  

A note for all petrol heads and mod's guys.
Get your butts over here you'll be in petrol heaven!    

Ok you may remember we were heading to this mountain today, not that high but fairly famous all the same Pyramidenkogel.

Well here's a few photos (pic heavy maybe) just to get an idea of whats happening this week. which is a full week before the GTi Treffer.


But first that's where I'm heading, taken at lake level and zoomed in as far as I can go with my little camera.



Found a Jet Wash in Flagenfurt.    



Now I'll save you the boring details, so here's a few from the top of the Mountain (mostly cars).  















There's a Restaurant at the top, this was only built last year!



Interesting parking, what can I say, oh there is 10" of clearance under that right rear wheel!  








This car was being professionally photographed by a film crew.



The tailback to get to the top was fairly long at times (limited parking spaces of course)








Even some turned back down the mountain, to hot to handle I guess!  



OK again pic heavy but they have been reduced in size (Mb) so should load fairly fast.
I've seen hundreds of cars today but as the driver I can't get them all, well that and my dear Wife sat beside me is photographically challenged!  
Apart from doing a 'Selfie', oh strange!

From what I've heard it's superb.  

I've tried twice for the porsche museum, failed both times, but the Mercedes museum is nothing short of fantastic. Astounding actually!!

That's a shame, Velden is the place to be.. Especially with wife in tow in an evening…
Been out at a shoot most of the day in the middle of nowhere so the only time we spent at the Shell station was actually filling up…
