Main supports nurserted ready to be bolted together , just making a jig for the 3 supports  then onto the main rotation part 

A little more done on the roll over jig ,  looking forward to actual mounting it to the car 

Started putting together the main pivotal points 

Small update jig all painted up ready to go 

Both front and rear mounts on going to start looking at removing the entire rear beam after adding the  main post of the jig this week. 

Got the rear beam off , found one or two holes in the shell ☹️ made some sketches at work ,  abit of cad then onto the laser

So after looking at the steering column I not a fan of the bracket so Im going to change it completely where is adjustable and bolted and where I use the inner shaft only 
Even got  shiny bias pedal box that should make things  cleaner 

So I can't do anything to the rear beam until material arrives but I have  stripped the steering column for what I need. Plus the post  man has delivered my removable steering boss so can make a start and get it on the lathe. 

Alittle update , Lots of parts Ordered be plenty of billet components throughout the thread❤️

Meterial has also came  for the rear beam so another job on the lathe when i get 5 

A little machining this evening hopefully get this steering column sorted this week 

Really busy bank holiday and focused on the shell removed engine and box and everything at the frontend as most of it I wont be using unfortunately 

Removable Steering wheel column is ready ,hopefully get this mocked up in the shell tommorow so I can move on and look at the bias pedal box mounting 

So steering Column hanging by a thread , hahaha Managed to see how I'm looking going to fit  an adjustable mount for the box 
Bit of carboard and some tube , just gotta dig out some 3mm steel for the plate 

So alittle more done. I've made it to give me (hopefully) as much adjustment as possible .
Have a few days off at work so going to look at the shell and have someone coming  over to quote me on media blasting. 

So 1st update looking at mocking up the pedal box and oh no we have metal issues 🙈 

Spare wheel well removed ready to accept a blanking plate of some sort 👍

So after having a quote for media blasting , chap was quite helpful and one of those more you do less money if will be 🤔

So two tubs of paint stripper for now only focusing on the areas that I can see are going to need work 
Top tip don't buy any cars that have been acid bathed 












Paint stripper works better than first though for sure 

So hole repaired and I've temporary welded the pedal box mount to where I think it should be however need to mount my seat but as always gotta take 3 steps backwards … 

Unfortunately the edge of the floor pan has corroded and the edge of the big holes so will have to sort these out first looking at it I'm going to tackle the left hand side first as this side is quite bad compared to drivers side . so vwheritage got an order 
Will do some cutting but guessing inner sill work and more panels will be needed
