Hello, new to MK 1's and been away a while....

So…. Having been around Golf's from the early 90's up to the mid naughties with and 8v MK2, A Rallye,  a VR6 Engined MK2 "featured in the GOLF" some time in the early 2000's, swapped out for S3 engined 20v Turbo that same year it's fair to say my love affair with the MK2 is over,  a 20 year absence whilst the family grew up and a few wild cars in between have flung me full circle back to the VW brand "having never really left" and searching for a MK1 !

Not entirely sure if I'm after a 20v Turbo 1.8T fully sorted with a good shell and interior sitting on some nice wheels and lowered but quick with fettled brakes,  A campaign in Lhasa green or an early 1.6 ? 

I suppose the right car has to come along at some point and I'll know then but right now I'm searching and the same cars keep cropping up !
