I've booked us a club stand at the show.

We are gong to do Club Stand on Sunday Only

23/24 June, Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground near Leicester

Camping available fri/sat night.

For 25% discount on advance tickets, book before 12 noon Friday 8 June, 2012

For the Club Stand, Choose MK1 Golf Owners Club in the drop down box under Club Display H-Q  on the website when purchasing tickets.

Normal gate prices are £20 per day (adult) and £18 per night camping

Paid members will take priority, but we will be doing memberships at the show 8)

I remember you telling me about this at the weekend, and it dose look quite fun but from looking at the GTI International web site it is all a bit confusing, i have just looked at the pricing and for one weekend ticket and camping over for the friday and saturday and it comes up to £78 each is that correct??

£28 for the weekend ticket (each)
£50 for camping on friday & saturday (each)

Having chatted to Ginner and Lhasadreams today, we have decided just to do club stand on the Sunday.

Just ordered my tickets for the Sunday - what a horrible order form !!

You need to make sure that you select the zero cost option to be on the MK1 Owners Club Stand as well as tickets etc.

I have pre ordered 5 sprint runs as well :-)

Pre order open until the 8th June - £15 each instead of £20 - so a £10 saving for the two of us, well not really because I had two more sprint runs instead !!

My tickets have come :cheer:

We have only got 4 people booked for the club stand though

Unless its changed, the show and shine area is on the tarmac near the traders, and the club stands are on the grass further away, dont think I recall the judging ever coming over to the club stands to judge individual cars.

But like Anna says, worth asking the question  8)

im coming to inters i met u guys at ultimate dubs i had a stand there
hopefully in the mk1 if i get it completed

Cool, you should be able to join us on the stand with your Mk1 if it's finished
Let me know how you get on towards the end of the week.

Got a wedding do the night before so if no bus is organised to take us into the wilds of the Ribble Valley then I'll drive and will be in a tired but fit state to drive down on Sunday.

Not been since my first trip in 2006 so will be good to have a nosey around and bend a few traders ears!!!  :wink:

I have tickets for Sharon and myself - including the all important sprint ones !! Oh an of course the one to hang from my mirror for the Mk1 Owners Club Plot :-)

I moan about the price of Inters but I always come away having enjoyed the day - hopefully the rain will stay off - 4pm onwards on Sunday is looking dodgy though.

How do I get the hanger? Has Anna go them.

Don't forget your laptop for some serious remedial techy input for a duffer like me!!!

May take mine up the strip for slowest run if the day!!

They send it to you when you pre book your tickets !!

Done a bit of emailing and told them we will have some people arriving and paying on the gate.

All seems fine, they will point you in the right direction.

They haven't sent me any hangers for people who haven't pre booked, but I have booked a club stand of 10.
I'm aiming to be there by 8.15am, it opens to the public at 9am.

I hope the weather picks up, I so need to get polishing!

Thanks very much for asking Anna, hopefully see you all sunday. Me, Dave and Mike should be coming down. Mikes going to do a few runs down the strip in his caddy, hopefully do under 12 seconds.

Wow Anna, was going to ask if you wanted to meet up on route !!
Will be aiming to get there for 9 !!

If it is anything like last year the queues to get in are not very long because of the camping.

I have a sprint pass as well as a club stand pass so if we have an efficient Marshall, we can always shuffle them around !!
