who owned yours before you?
she was driven as fast as shed go everywhere she went,
i got her for a bargain price. cos he was worried the the man who he had upset would come back and vandlise her some more (already been keyed)
there is an upside to this, (other than me rescuing her) when i got her home i gave the engine a once over and found that she still had her rev limiter fitted.

Bloke who had it before me didn't own it long - in the short time it'd been outside his house it'd been keyed and the aerial snapped off. When he told me he lived in a slightly dodgy area he wasn't wrong - some chavs nearly crashed into him (in the golf) while we were following him back to his house to exchange the papers etc.
I think he did the right thing

The Cabrio was a retirement present for woman in her late 50s, 19 years later the lack of PAS was too much for the old dear now in her 70s, so it really has had one carefully old lady driver. I'm too old to be messing with rusty old bangers whilst laid on a cold concrete floor these days
Spookily her name was almost exactly the same as mine, surname same and forename only 2 or 3 letters different… cue twilight zone music..
