I remember seeing your car that day….a very cold one if I remember, with big snow drifts up my way as I set off early doors. Sorry to hear it got vandalised. I seem to recall you had a Zender Golf Ball gearknob in it ??

yes that's right, good memory, still got it fitted.  what's yout opinion on the light covers ?  was thinking about refitting them but not sure if they look right .

I think you bought it from me thru Ebay ( I was tallman33 at the time !).
TBH I'm not keen on the light covers, they make the lights look a bit too small. I think you can go the other way in making your front likes bigger (aka…the Zender grille/light kit…..there's that brand again !) but I'm not too keen on the small look. Sorry !

What do you think now, looking back ?

I quite like them on MK2's but I'm not sure about them on MK1's as they break up the flow of the grille trim too much

CrewCab keeps calling it HER golfie although I seem to remember it was me that shelled out ?1200 for it  SHe drove it yesterday and didn't like the clutch so I may retain ownership of it for a bit longer

i think this is me favourite so far, but i want one when shes all durty after workl too!
