How many miles has your Mk1 done?

Good Lord, Ans4r! That's impressive!
Mine's 133k. There was a famous mk2 diesel that did 420k on the original engine without a rebuild. VW bought it back and took it to bits for research purposes!  

Mine has had a conversion to a sportline, so the clocks are know are differnt, it says 117k, but it's a 1986, so could probably be more.

Engine has done just a little over 2k though?!

Tin tops done 88k and the floppy's done 101k.

98k on mine  

mines somewhere around the 190k mark, the odometer jammed a so it was showing 179k for a while    but its since been reset to the millage of the rebuilt engine so it now reads 1700.

1 of mine has done 55000. and the second one has done 89000

My GTI has covered 213,000 on the original engine. Been off the road for the last couple years hopefully will soon be increasing that mileage.

My Golf C is used daily has just passed 170,000 also on the original engine.

nearly 190000, as far as i can see with all paperwork dont think engines been apart, im 5th owner, mk1 gti

173k before the G60 went it 174k now

42,000 Series 2 GTI

216,000 - still runs lovely.  Uses a bit too much fuel though.

146500 now altho had a full rebuild at 136000 so runs and goes like a treat.

Just bought a rivage with 26k on the clock. I love old biddys.

87 k.its the reason why i haven`t 20v`d it

Got my car with 43k  4 yrs ago engine transplant has now done73k with 20v in not bad for a 32y old lady
