dom, i'd offer to come round and help… but when i had bits off mine i never quite got them back in the right place again… they don't 100% mate up to the vents on the dash anymore

hahah 148k now, mot's appear to be correct.. but there could have been an engine swap at some point, but mileage matches previous mot's dating back 6 years!

and just for good measure, in november 2006 when i bought it it had 133k on the clock.. so i've driven it a fair bit!!

In the last 5 years around 4675miles in total 176239 although you would be hard pushed to find an original bit of the car that has done that!!

Just come round to 196000 - means that I've done 154000 miles in it. Taken a few years though!

mines around the 180,000 mark too but as was said before the body is prob only thing that has done that!

My mk1 is a November 81 tin top and has done 65,000 (havent used it since october last year as I am renovationing the bodywork

36568 miles. Mileage on 26th August 1981 was 21,021. 15k in 27 years aint bad!!
