4-2-1 Exhaust error

Last week I bought a new 4-2-1 stainless exhaust for the new engine I'm putting in…got it, and have just realised that its a Mk2 exhaust, which is pretty different to the Mk1 exhaust So currently I'm desperately hoping I can return it but I'm not hopeful :/ Is there anything I can do to modify it to fit, would simply curving the top branches do it or is it way more difficult that that? If not, does anyone know of someone who is looking for a 4 branch 4-2-1 stainless steel manifold? Its really very nice! But thanks to my screw up, I may just have waisted a lot of money Jack
