Description: Golf GTi MK1 Karmann Cabriolet for sale (1984), All-White special edition.

**PRICE NOW REDUCED** I have owned this car since 2005, and have had lots of fun driving it since that time. Whilst I would love to keep it, a change in circumstances has meant that, with a heavy heart, I now need to part company with it. We need the garage space, and I cannot bear to think of it sitting out on the drive in all weather.

Since purchasing the car, it has always been garaged and really only goes out when the sun is out and the roads are dry. As a consequence, it has not really deteriorated in the 11 years I have had it. For the last few years we have had the car SORN for 6 months of the year, over the winter, and then on the roads for the other 6 months.

I find myself quite emotionally attached to the car and would love it to go to a good home to someone who could continue to look after it in the years to come.

Considering it is now 32 years old, the car is in a very good condition. I cannot pretend it is perfect, but for its age it is fairly unscathed in my opinion. The mileage is only 59k, although the mileometer shows otherwise (26k). There was a speedo head change in 1989, at 32k, for which I have the original paperwork. So at less that 2k miles a year on average, the are plenty of miles left in the car.

Bodywork is in very good condition. As you would expect, there are a few stone chips, but very little in the way of rust. There is one area of rust that would need a little attention, just below the windscreen - I have taken a picture, see below.

Interior is not too bad. Seats are in a good condition, although some of the fabric has got as little tatty, especially on the drivers seat, where it has snagged on clothing over the years. Again, I have taken photos of this, see below. Carpets and trim are in good original condition.

Hood is in good condition, and there is a tonneau cover, again in good condition.

Engine is in good running order, with many original parts.
