What amp cable are people using on the batteries..either in bay or with reposition in boot. As im looking to tidy up some more.

I just buy the ones at the Autoparts store for the Power with the 3-4 additional Pig Tails to off load the Ring connectors, Came for the Earthing from the battery to the Frame and Frame to engine/tranny…. (extra pig tail there as well.)

Should I Rob the welders cable from site? Or just buy a set prepared already.

Is a let's say is a 50 pound cost of cable worth the Solicitors Fees, Court Fees, and a couple of years of your life as a ward of the Queen worth a few feet of "FREE" cable. Let alone your cell mate a 550 lbs 6'4  tall man who looks darkly at you then saying "yourmybitch" I mean they have Cameras everywhere now.

Mmmmmm That is usually how I judge things….

Got Parkinglotted…. The sucker drove off of course….
But that was a few weeks ago… So yesterday, I decided to start the work… Then my Sander Crapped out mid-job, so I had to drive to the BORG in my Green Cabby, first time on the road since October….. (BORG Big Orange Retail Giant..Home Depot).

Dinged it down to the Steel.

2 coats of primer, and 1000 grit wet sand.

2 coats of Color, letting it sit over night then will clear it later today after a slight sanding.

Rattle Canned, mixed after color Matching the hood, door, and fender.

Pulled all carpets. Sound proof door cards belts lower dash ready for its paint in a couple of weeks. Discovered a previous owner had done a drivers inner sill repair with duct tape and mastic. Glad I found it as was going to leave the carpets in but got carried away . So now have a bit of grinding and welding for the body shop guys to do also. Tomorrow will be grill off duck bill bumpers arches and head liner.  Just glass after that which I have never done but sure I am going to hate that bit.

Papa, your wheels always remind me of the original POS  wheel covers I had on my Rabbit Diesel… but better looking…..

LOLOL

I have been driving topless since forever.  I think I have only had to have my top up on 5 to 10 days since August…. I have to remind myself to put it up about every 4-5 days… (it's garaged) Now for the next couple of months I will have it more up than down, even in the garage as it is Pollen Season in Ga.

This was one days accumulation last year.

Well in my quest to get another car to reasonable standard..ie 1 that wife will sit in..I sold my gold ra's..hopefully this will fund the material and bolster repairs to myvalver and caster.
So out in the world of UK golfs there's now 3 sets of RA's that's passed through my hands in last 3months. Bet any money when I want another set I'll be struggling.

Bought new 17" !! X 7.5 repro wheels 195/40/17's all round ET of 20 and a set of gti arch trims and a chin spoiler didn't see the point of buying real trims as I've got to cut the return edges off to fit them, bring on the bond !!
