Pic request - was anyone's car supplied by Caffyns VW Audi?

Hi all

I'm new here. I don't own a Mk1 golf but I do own something very similar - a 1982 Scirocco GTI. Since these cars share a lot of parts I'll probably be cropping up here from time to time.

as an odd first request - does anyone have a car that was supplied by Caffyns VW Audi in the early 80s? i am trying to find out what the dealer plates, tax disc holder and dealer sticker looked like so i can have some replicas made.

if anyone has any pics of these, then i would be very grateful

I sold my 92 Clipper last July which had been supplied by Caffyns in Lewes. it still had the original Caffyns plates, rear window sticker and tax disc holder. The plates have the later VAG coloured logos not the black VAG square boxes which would have been right for an 82 car. I'm still in touch with the new owner and can ask for pics if you like - let me know

my car was from the Bexhill-on-Sea dealership (not there any more) but i know its address details. more after the look of the tax disc holder, etc. and the guy making them can replicate the graphics.

Hi reverend-frog, I can't help you with the logos but could you help me? I was wondering if the person who does the replica logos has a business and if so could I have the contact details? 
I was also wondering if you have managed to source some old style number plates with large letters and perspex with square corners instead of the new smaller letters and rounded corners? I have been looking for months for a supplier or new old stock of number plate letters but haven't found anything yet! I might have to try and make some myself if I can't find any.
