i'm that excited the prep work has already started

the fire pit got new leg (recycled radiator brackets) as the plastic pully melted last year



also tonight meal was cook bbq style so i can get back in the swing of things



and the all important question what sauce to have on the meat the BBQ provides, classic HP, Pataks Chill Pickle or a bit of levi roots



show me any non car related prep work, tents, bbq, meat selection/testing, and also beer sampling

all of the above are very important things that need ironing out well in advance of the actual weekend

Think about coming down for the weekend - the drive out is great (122 MK1s last year!!) and Saturday night is great fun too  

After seeing what a good time my brother had last year AGM and the buzz he came back on this is a must for me this year. I'm a newbie with no mk1 golf at the moment but bought my ticket for the weekend

Good attitude Graham! Everyone, whether they've got a Mk1 Golf on the road, laid up or just interest can come along and join in the fun. After 1 year I defy anyone not to make it a second because it's great…. Especially if the sun is out!!!
