Built to go not for show

Since my old phone broke on throu to the other side my pics of my build were almost lost.. Iv managed to get some but not all…  Iv never done build threads but there a great idea to diary any progress and keep a record of work done..
This one kind of defeats the purpose as its built but technically its not 100% finished…

I bought this car for £350. I wanted any colour apart from red and an original big bumper model. This was neither, but the body was rock solid and at that money I couldn't a say no…

This was the car receiving its first clean and polish and I put a set of bbs ra on it and a single lamp grill to see what it was like.
My buddy Andy helping out👍

Cross hair lights I had as the clears were done

The paint came up amazing using G3 products I was well chuffed and the tornado started to grow on me.

This was the bay

So after I got the car cleaned up the strip down began

The back seats are even better.. It's a corrado rear bench and there super snug.. Plus there's no rubbing with 3 in the back

Nice spec. Not quite standard then ;)

Is a 4.5bar fpr needed? I thought 4bar was more than enough for modding that engine?

Come rain or shine…
My mate come down with the old faithful:) garage door had to be taken off to get the lump out to..
Standard g60 fly there which was brand new vag as the lightened one i paid a fortune for from America was causing problems.

In it goes

Home sweet home

Lost a lot of pics but fwd now and got a seat Toledo tdi twin fan radiator in there, lucky find in the scrappies… It's huge and fits factory mounts
Fmic on and in place..
I cut out the lower part of the front panel bolted this in place the my mate welded a tubed braket to the front cross member then that got bolted to the underside of the fmic.. Painted up bottles in. Fits snug

Thought I would put his nosing to good use  he supplied the hoist and the flaring kit..  I never got much of a hand but he helped me out doing the brake lines and bleeding them. Was pretty much 3 cold months of loneliness mate
